No accusation is apparently too low for the PA. After 40 Israelis died rushing to rescue Palestinian inmates of the Damon Prison from the forest fire engulfing the north of the country, a PA Minister made the following remarks on PA TV:
they created a lag and our [Palestinian] prisoners were endangered. Had there not been Israeli criminals or Jewish prisoners in this particular prison, it would have been even slower…

Over at The Propagandist, Jonathon Narvey confronts a brand new, and decidedly stinky, conspiracy theory: that those shadowy Zionists, and not Islamist terrorists, were behind the shocking massacre of 58 Iraqi Christian worshippers at the Sayedat al-Najat Cathedral in Baghdad on October 31. Writes Jonathon: “This is a useful example of a larger phenomenon that makes brokering peace between Islamic states and Western ones, or dealing with Islamist terror, state-sanctioned or otherwise, so much more difficult. A broad swathe of humanity throughout the Islamic world, particularly their political leaders and intellectual class, believes in blood-curdling fairy tales. And they project the worst aspects of Islamism’s brutalities upon its victims.”
“Let me just clarify then: Are you suggesting that Canada’s Israel policy could leave young Canadian women in limbo?”
Pardy: “Yes.”

Richard Falk, the UN Special Rapporteur for human rights in the Palestinian territories - previously known for his doubts about what really happened on 9/11 - has just come out with another novel theory.
Shah Zaman Khan runs the press operation for the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi. And he is expressing what might be politely called “eccentric” views about the Mumbai atrocities in December - views which would doubtless be echoed by many of those who joined the pro-Hamas demonstrations in various cities over the weekend.

Richard Falk, who carries a UN Mandate to write reports based solely on testimony from people who loathe Israel, has given an interview to the “Democracy Now!” show in the aftermath of his expulsion from Israel.
According to the BBC, Richard Falk is a “senior UN human rights official.” The phrase confers on him a gravitas which he doesn’t deserve and masks the farce involved in handing a 9/11 conspiracy theorist a mandate to bash Israel.
Any doubts about the antisemitic nature of the Iranian regime should be thoroughly squashed by news of a row at an international book fair in Zagreb, Croatia.
