Now that the substance of the IDF’s account of events has been confirmed by a source not known for its sympathy towards Israel and, indeed, by a journalist who has recently excoriated Israel’s policies in Jerusalem, I’m sure we can expect a wave of apologies from all the commentators who were so quick to condemn the IDF’s “brutality” and all the “as a Jew” Jews who mewled about supposedly lost values and made half-witted comparisons with the Exodus. Or maybe not…
