		<description>Well said. The real libel in Clancy's segment (and as you note in your piece here) is that mainstream group's like AJC are part of some right-wing cabal.

Groups like AJC, the Conference of Presidents, ADL are all centrist, two-staters who have no problem calling out nonsensical policies emanating from the Israeli government. To lump all "pro-Israel" groups into the bucket of "bad Jew" as you say, is an indication of the sorry state of discourse and the slippery slope down which it is rapidly heading.

On a side note, I've never quite understood what it means to be labeled as "pro-Israel." To me it means I'm of the mind that a country named Israel, as the homeland of Jews worldwide, should exist in peace and security. Therefore if one is not part of the "pro-Israel" crowd, shouldn't the question be asked what that actually means.

In other words, perhaps it's time to re-articulate some basic definitions and force those who can't seem to say they are "pro" to explain exactly what their "anti" views really mean.
