Despite it is claiming it is a democracy, Israel is an occupation force that has never respected any UN reolution. The UN has indeed asked Hezbullah to disarm; but it has also asked Israel to withdraw immediately from South Lebanon, stop its settlements in occupied lands, stop building the West Bank fence, recognize the right of return to Palestinian refugees, stop demolishing arab houses, etc...Israel has done nothing of that. Israel launched a deadly war on Gaza recently and is known to have conducted war crimes. It has of course rejected any UN inquiry but the media images are here to prove these crimes did happen. Israel doesn t really need the UN security council seat, since it is unconditionally and blindly supported by the Western countries with the USA using their veto each time Israel is criticized.
