I just took a look at your piece and the quote by Gelman. In it, Gelman deplores synagogue desecrations and apparently earns the title of “whack job” by insinuating that the killing of 1300 Gazans by Israel is bound to unleash some synagogue trashing and anti-Semitism along with the rest of the world’s condemnation. Seems reasonable to me. Now there will always be people who are anti-Semitic because they simply hate Jews, but Gelman was commenting on them, not trying to be one of them.
Bye, Dave. There’s no place here for those who think antisemitism is caused by Jews.
