For over thirty years after 1967 both Arabs and Jews could move freely about the Districts of Hebron and Nablus - till Arafat and friends but with friends like that.... started their permanent muqawama war. Of more political pertinence, what sort of trade unionists and left politics is it to associate with a bunch of theocrats who oppose representative voting and democracy on principle? Who wish to run their government exclusively on canon law? Besides viciously enforcing their authoprity with bombs, beatings lynchings and...even formal death penalties???
