UPDATED WITH NEW LOCATIONS: Tomorrow, Sunday January 11, rallies in support of Israel will be held in a number of cities. There are many reasons you should attend if there is one in your area, not least the importance of showing the pro-Hamas thugs that they don’t own the streets. Here are the details for the rallies we know about - in New York, London, Manchester, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Montreal, Antwerp and Kiev.

It was a very small and mute rally, as contrasted with quite a raucous and populous pro-Palestinian one. A pretty depressing affair. It was very cold today and it is Shabat, so I guess these factors may account for the poor show.
We had to go around the pro-Palestinian rally, in order to get to the pro-Israeli one. Most signs were saying: Israel terroriste” and the person speaking just then identified herself as a Jew. “The life of an Arab is of the same value as the life of a Jew” she was saying in French. From the part we saw, it didn’t seem an angry type of rally. Nothing like the reports that I’ve been reading about similar protests in Europe or even in the States.

salut noga,
Salutations.
I was at the New york Rally this morning and i have to say it was very successful. Thousands of people packed 42nd Street to support Israel in its defense against the terrorist Hamas. Israel has a right and an obligation to protect its citizens from the rockets that are being shot everyday into there settlements. Hamas has no consideration for freedom, peace, or even the security of their ownn civilians. This message of freedom was heard today.
“Most signs were saying: Israel terroriste” and the person speaking just then identified herself as a Jew.”
I saw a rally San Fran, while I was passing through, where a speaker also identified himself as a Jew which looked to me as if he trying to tell people who were holding up signs such as “Zionism equals Nazis” and “Jews kill children” that they were not Jew haters.
That speaker may also have been trying to get himself accepted by the angry crowd. This reminded me of the Jews in Soviet Russia who went along first with Lenin’s attempt to eradicate any Jewish (and other forms of) Zionism by cleansing Yiddish of “jargon words from Hebrew” and who in spite of their efforts to be good Jews were executed by Stalin when they no longer proved useful.
