He's drawing moral equivalence between the Omagh atrocity in Northern Ireland and Israeli actions in Gaza. The Omagh terrorists were trying to destroy civilian property, but the Israelis were trying to destroy military weapons that would have been used by terrorists. The situations just aren't the same. O’Toole’s point #4 is especially distasteful. He’s drawing moral equivalence between the Omagh atrocity in Northern Ireland and Israeli actions in Gaza.
