Gilad is still alive, but now that "the lesson has been learned" he and his family have to pay to ultimate price for the government's horrific mistakes. It's an intolerable thought. I keep thinking, what if it were my son? How would I be able to continue to live when I see my government miscalculate on such a large scale and then asking me to sacrifice my boy for it?
