The Rev Naim Ateek, head of Sabeel - a Palestinian Christian group identified with liberation theology, but which frequently descends into antisemitism - has expressed support for an organization known for its Christian sympathies: Hamas.
Ateek also referred to himself as the leader of the movement which he called “The Palestinian Theology of Liberation.” (His leadership role in a movement which includes Hamas will undoubtedly come as news to Hamas.)
Ateek was the keynote speaker at the pro-Palestinian conference which took place in September at the First Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Other speakers included Anna Baltzer, Ilan Pappe, Don Wagner, Joel Kovel, Chris Hedges and Phyllis Bennis.
All the luminaries of the anti-Zionist movement, then. Do read the rest of Adam’s post, which includes more detail on Michigan anti-Zionist zealot Michelle J. Kinnucan.

Antisemitism is what unites these people.
