Here’s Terry Glavin, who proudly notes that the convention which denounced the boycott campaign against Israel took place in his home town of Victoria. Terry includes a photo of Jamaican-born Ucal Powell - President of the Carpenters’ District Council of Ontario and the man who slammed the boycott in no uncertain terms - hard at work in post-Katrina New Orleans. Ucal provided his services free of charge because the devastation in New Orleans reminded him of the hurricane which devastated Jamaica when he was a kid. Now there, as they say, is a mensch.
