Z Word guest blogger Mikey details more of the lies and distortions of Greg Felton, who is addressing a meeting at the Vancouver Public Library as part of “Freedom to Read Week.”

Greg Felton wrote a column for Canadian Arab News in 2005 where he stated that the Palestinians can be helped “by teaching our children how zionists [sic] betrayed European Jewry and how Israel represents the last manifestation of Hitler’s master race mentality.” [1]

As a result of that particular article, Edwin Black, who Felton had used for a source, wrote to him and said:

“Your citations to my book The Transfer Agreement and its revelations about a Zionist attempt to rescue Jews during the Third Reich are factually in error and twisted out of context. Your mistakes on dates, details and perspective is quite profound for a discussion with an academic underpinning.” [2]

Felton who wrote the article, admits that he contributes to a website entitled whatreallyhappened.com, [3] a website that is full of conspiracy theories about the terrorist atrocities in America on 11th September 2001. [4] The website also has links for the statement “Who owns congress.” When the links are viewed, it can be seen that they are just lists of pro-Israel political contributions to congressional candidates.[5]

Felton has also subsequently opined the following, “The equation of The Zionist Reich with the Nazi Reich is perfectly valid.” [6] In my opinion, people such as Felton, who resort to distorting facts about the Holocaust, making inaccurate and offensive Zionist-Nazi comparisons and supporting conspiracy theorists, are doing no favors for the Palestinians they purportedly wish to assist.
